IS THE NDC SAFE FOR 2024? AN EYE WITNESS ACCOUNT ON NDC VETTING AT KOFORIDUA WEDNESDAY 16TH AUG.2023

I witnessed a very disturbing attitude of some Executives of the Eastern region during the vetting of the Afram Plains South Parliamentary aspirants. I picked on only that Constituency because it is one of the NDC’s strong holds which has lately seen a lot of bashing on the backs of its MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng.  The incumbent on his first attempt did not belong to any branch or obtained a party card but in just 2 months was allowed to contest even with criminal records which the Former General Secretary, Mr. Asiedu Nketia jaws prevy to and made some very genuine claims about this same MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng,Hon. Eric Osei Owusu also contested on similar grounds with no party affliction to branch or bearing a party card. AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH NDC PARLIAMENTARY RACE: MAXWELL ASARE AMPADU SUCCESSFULLY FILES NOMINATION FORM

Maxwell Asare Ampadu ( a.k.a Afram Tiger) has successfully submitted his nomination form to contest the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Afram Plains south constituency of the Eastern region. The NDC will conduct its parliamentary primaries elections from Friday 25th August, 2023 to Saturday 26th August,2023 respectively in the current eighteen (18) constituency cleared to conduct their primaries after resolving numerous issues in those comstituencies. The Afram Plains South parliamentary seat is been occupied by NDC since 1992 and the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon. Joseph Appiah Boateng has been in parliament for the past eight (8) years with no development in the constituency. The former Mpraeso constituency treasure of the ruling New Patriotic Party NPP, Hon Emmanuel Atta Ofori Jnr has predicted a 56% percent win for Vice President Dr Alhaji Bawumiah in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has taken a significant step in his pursuit to lead the New Patriotic Party ahead of the 2024 elections by picking up nomination forms. Representing the Vice President, former Vice Chairman of the NPP, Fred Oware, collected the documents alongside former National Organiser Sammy Awuku. The 29 Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made GH 6000.00 cheque donation to support Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko picking and filling for his nomination forms. The executives at a short ceremony in Upper Manya, Asesewa constituency office expressed strong interest  in him want him to continue to lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary and the  presidential elections. Atiwa East New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency executives has threatened to besieged the party’s headquarters in Accra if fresh polling station elections are not conducted. The Atiwa East NPP Constituency Executives are also calling on the National Executive Committee of the Party to open fresh nominations for the polling station elections to pave way for the election of polling station executives, electoral area coordinators and constituency executives. The executives besieged the party’s constituency office today in a press conference and threatened to proceed to the party’s Headquarters in Accra over concerns about breaches recorded in the process toward the conduct of polling station executive elections in the area.
