UPPER MANYA NDC CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES DONATES GHC 6000.00 CHEQUE TO SUPPORT FILLING OF MP NORMINATION FORM
The 29 Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made GH 6000.00 cheque donation to support Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko picking and filling for his nomination forms.
The executives at a short ceremony in Upper Manya, Asesewa constituency office expressed strong interest in him want him to continue to lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary and the presidential elections.
The constituency Chairman Yakubu Hankuri and the constituency executives contributed to to pick the nomination forms for the incumbent MP, told the gathering that they have unanimously declared their support for Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko for his kind and good leadership exhibited in Upper Manya Krobo constituency.
Chairman Hankuri said, Hon. Bismark Tetteh is a unique unifier.
He added that the MP has maintained the unity within Upper Manya Krobo constituency through commitment to the entire constituency with infrastructural projects and human development.
*MP renders 3 year stewardship account to constituents*
The Member of Parliament, Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko accounted to his constituents works he has executed and ongoing within 3 years he became the representative in the legislature.
*Sekesua Health Center*
MP donated hospital equipments for X-ray department, refrigerator for medical storage. Currently the MP is constructing a medical laboratory for the SekesuaHealth Center.
*Asesewa District Hospital*
The MP assist the District Health Directorate in an urgent equipping the Hospital Operation Theatre. Hon. Bismark donated an autoclave, a surgical lamp valued over GHC 20,000.00 to the hospital.
*Aplekumase Chps*
He donated a quantity of clinical equipment including BP apparatus, thermometers, hand gloves and and other important items to the Aplekumase chps.
*Roads*
The major problem in the Upper Manya Krobo constituency is the deplorable nature of roads.
The previous NDC government under the former President Professor John Evans Atta Mills brought grades for districts.
The laudable policy was to enable all district assemblies reshape deplorable roads network.
However, Upper Manya Krobo District grader was sold to the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament, Mr. Joseph Tetteh (Joe Tee) who later sold the assembly property to scrap dealers.
*Sekesua - Akatawia*
The road has been under rehabilitation before the NDC government lost power in 2016, the contractor left site due to lack of funds from the new NPP government.
The MP has lobbied on the floor of Parliament for contractors to resume the abandoned deplorable roads network, Dawa Korlewa, linking New Juaben South and Fanteakwa, Yilo Krobo.
Notwithstanding this assurance, Hon. Bismark hired a grader to work on Akatawia to Sekesua, Somer junction -Breponso through Osonson and Korlenya.
Other reshaped roads by Hon. Bismark includes Brepor to Ferfer, Kokonney road, Kowhere, Odometa to Adwenso road. Other embarked include the Aketebuor and Ahabaso to Otrokper and others.
*ANYABONI RESETTLEMENT*
The MP is currently constructing a fuly Maternity and Child Health Care Center at Anyaboni Resettlement.
The facility will serve 15000 population at the catchment area. He has also handed over hospital equipment and beds to the center from Krobo group residents in Switzerland.
*Akateng*
Mr. Bismark donated GHC 12, 000.00 for completion of health center the community was undertaking through voluntary contributions.
He therefore donated quantity bags of cement towards the project.
*Water*
Most portable drinking water pipes in most communities got broken due to culture maintenance, he fixed most of them for use.The communities benefited hand pumps includes Zuyumunor, Sutri-Akwenor and Odometa.
*Education*
Brilliant but needy students at the tertiary are supported from his meager share of the District Assembly Common Fund. Also at the Basic level, the MP sponsors mock examination of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) students to take off burden of parents.
*Security*
Peace and security is paramount in every community, in thus regard, before Hon. Bismark resumed office, the Sekesua and Otorokper Police Stations were closed down under NPP MP Mr. Joseph Tetteh (Joe Tee) and Mr. Odjao Felix former DCE; who was the Chairman of the District Security Committee (DISEC).
Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko renovated and fully refurbished the Sekesua Police Station in consultation with the opinion leaders.
*Street Lights*
Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko has donated 500 streetlights to communities to improve lighting system.
