Nana Asiedu Baah Ameyaw II the newly instooled chief of Takoratwene in the Afram Plains South has given the people hope in his statement while speaking with the socio-political show Host Torgbui Gadeka on Gadeka Multimedia Afram Plains.



Nana Asiedu Baah Ameyaw II was instooled with a Queen mother Nana Dansoa II on the 8th November,2025.

Takoratwene or Maame-krobo Nkwanta popularly called is one of the community with a bright future and rescide on the Pitiku stool land.

The main occupation of the people in the area are both commercial and peasant farming and hunting. Takoratwene is blessed with some companies such as two woods log processing factories, pigry company, and Agriculture input company (Ransboat).

Speaking with Nana Asiedu Baah Ameyaw II, he stated he visions as follows:

* Three (3) to Five (5) years to come in his reign as the chief will help at least ninety (90%) percent of the youth get employed both in the formal and informal sector.



* To make sure Takoratwene become center of Afram Plains South and North in terms of Agriculture input and output


* To make sure Takoratwene becomes the leading producer of food in the entire Afram Plains



*  To bring more investor to create more employment for the people of Takoratwene and the nearby towns.

Nana Asiedu Baah Ameyaw II further elaborated the road map to achieve his vision for his people while speaking with the media and he states that he will bring all members of the community under one umbrella.

He again added that he will accept opinions of all and nobody will be left out in decision making.



He furthermore stated that he will make sure each and every one in the community felt the spirit of communal building and willingness to help develop the community.

The people of the Takoratwene community were pleased to hear those powerful visions from their newly instooled chief Nana Asiedu Baah Ameyaw II.

HON. BETTY KROSBI MENSAH SAVES THE LIFE OF A 5-YEAR-OLD BOY SUFFERING FROM A HOLE IN HIS HEART

The timely intervention of Member of Parliament for the Afram Plains North constituency, Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah has saved the life of a five-year-old boy called Callem Apema from fassorbattor suffering from a hole-in-heart condition. Little Callem Apema was diagnosed with a hole-in-heart condition in February 2021, at Cardiothoracic Centre in Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. The parents who couldn't afford the cost of the surgery had to return home where the plight of the child came to the attention of Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah during one of her usual community visitations leading to her immediate intervention of the boy who was pale, inactive, malnourished with blackish-red eyes and swollen fingers.
