Immediate Release: I have not said anything anywhere that it was the farmer who killed himself -HON EVANS KYEI NTIRI-(DCE FOR KAPD)



Hello Good People of Afram plains south more especially maame Krobo and it’s enclaves, good day its rather unfortunate for the phenomenon happening in our district as far as this normedic herdman issues are concern. We have come to realized that,some groups are circulating falsehood that HON EVANS KYEI NTIRI-DCE for the Kwahu Afram Plains South have granted interviews on the issues regarding the death of Mr Kwasi Otomfor, saying the man shot himself But not the police.

We must state this emphatically that,such information is mischievous and highly miscommunicated and must be disregard.

The DCE has not said anything anywhere that it was the farmer who killed himself.
HON EVANS KYEI NTIRI-(DCE FOR KAPD) told the media that,He was not around at the time of the incidents but what I can say for now *according to the District Police Commander *it was the farmer who shot himself* But I am on my way to Maame Krobo and for that matter where the incident happened".

It is rather believed that some so called opinion leaders who do not have farms have connived with some People with such falsehoods to discredit or bring the name of our DCE into disrepute and also destruct the effort made by the DCE and the security.

We would like to make this clear to good people of AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH District especially Maame Krobo and it’s environs that the DCE have had sleepless nights since the day of incident.

The DCE has assured us all that, well structured and good measures have been put in place as far as security is concern in and even awaiting that another batch of security personnels alights from today
the DCE has pledged to spend the last resources in his custody to maintain peace and order in the district and urge the good people of Afram Plains South remain calm and resolute.

He extends his words of condolences to the bereaved family more especially The wife and children's of Mr Kwasi Otomfor.

Maxwell Asare Ampadu ( a.k.a Afram Tiger) has successfully submitted his nomination form to contest the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Afram Plains south constituency of the Eastern region. The NDC will conduct its parliamentary primaries elections from Friday 25th August, 2023 to Saturday 26th August,2023 respectively in the current eighteen (18) constituency cleared to conduct their primaries after resolving numerous issues in those comstituencies. I witnessed a very disturbing attitude of some Executives of the Eastern region during the vetting of the Afram Plains South Parliamentary aspirants. I picked on only that Constituency because it is one of the NDC’s strong holds which has lately seen a lot of bashing on the backs of its MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng.  The incumbent on his first attempt did not belong to any branch or obtained a party card but in just 2 months was allowed to contest even with criminal records which the Former General Secretary, Mr. Asiedu Nketia jaws prevy to and made some very genuine claims about this same MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng,Hon. Eric Osei Owusu also contested on similar grounds with no party affliction to branch or bearing a party card.
