AGGRIEVED AND DISSAPPOINTED NDC MEMBERS OF AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH PETITIONED NEWLY ELECTED NATIONAL EXECUTIVES FOR THEIR DISQUALIFICATION IN JUST ENDED INTERNAL ELECTION



The aggrieved and dissapointed members of NDC in the AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH has today 7th February,2023 petitioned their newly elected national party executives at the national headquarters.

The petitioners who comprises of those who have been disqualified at the branch and constituency level with no reasons for some ones personal interest were about sixty (60) and over who bused themselves from Afram Plains South to Accra Adabraka the national headquarters of the party.

Petitioners speaking with the media, they detailed their aggrievances to the newly elected national executives as follows:

-They insisted that the branch and constituency executive elections to be held again.

- they also insisted on the fact that the election was fraudulently conducted.

-They further insisted the organization was not properly done because no security and electoral commission present.

-They also emphasised that if the party executives will not allow others to contest the elections then they will rather choose an independent candidate to vote for

-They also said their party NDC is loosing its base in the Afram plains south because of the current MP.

-They added that they want peace in the region and in the constituency.

-They said they want things done right to have a fair grounds for the next primaries.

- the petitioners said there are alot of division in the party because of the dubious and fraudulent elections held in the branch and constituency of Afram Plains south.

- they added that the seating  MP has planted his own executives to vote for him and they won’t allow that to happen

-They also stated that they want fair grounds for all aspirants

- they also emphasised that they have taken the risk to come and see the party newly executives to resolve their issues just because they love the party.
