Premix Fuel Smulggled in the Night at Ekye Amanfrom
The socio-political show "Mpu-Ne-Mpu" on Afram Fm news desk has come across a video circulating and indicating an alleged smulggling of Premix fuel at Ekye Amanfrom yesterday Friday 19th August, 2022 in the night at 8:15 pm to 12 midnight to hoarders who usually sale to fishermen at a very high price under black market.
These people are termed " Magbo Magbo" who hoard the premix fuel and then sale to fishermen at a very high cost.
Speaking with one of the eye witness ( name withheld) who managed to video this bad act of the Landing Beach committee at that odd hours, he sad he got the hint about said act and decided to hide and take a video for report and complain about how some people for their personal interest are dealing with government commodity and punishing their own people who are fishermen.
The said video when watching was very dark though, but one can hear the misunderstanding between the Smulgglers at that night doing the punishable offence.
It was alleged that the following people were involved in such bad act:
*Kpeta Hor Joe a brother of NPP 2016/2020 parliamentry Candidate william Hor
*Swanzy Kwadzo
*Prince Attie
* Papatse,
*Aban
* Agbe Amanor
are those alleged to have been involved in such act.
Our Further findings have revealed that the video has been submitted to the District B.N.I to do further investigation about and apply appropriate sanction when they are found guilty of the Law governing the sales of Premix fuel in the Country.
We are also yet to consult the District Chief Executive on the said act to know his side of the story about what happened in night.
Premix fuel has been a scarce commodity in recent time along the Afram lake due its untimely supply by the Authorities in charge.
Fishermen have lodged a lot of plight on how difficult they found it before going to their normal duties without premix fuel.
They spent a lot of money buying petrol and then mixing with engine oil before they can go on the lake for fishing and commercial transportation.
