Afram Plains North MP Hon. Betty Krosby Mensah Donated Outboard motors to Fisherfolks in her Constituency





Today, a successful milestone was 
chalked in the lives of the good people of Afram Plains North together with her constituency executives led by Hon. Prosper Galinor, she handed over 30 outboard motors to the fishing and transport enterprise in the District.




The Hon. Member of Parliament for Afram Plains North speaking with Torgbui Gadeka of Afram fm the Host "Mpu-ne-Mpu" show which usually takes off at 3pm to 6pm mondays to thursdays, she said the motive is to provide government-subsidized brand new outboard motors both Suzuki and Yamaha brands to fisherfolks. 

She added that This is to help curb the over-reliance on faulty second-hand outboard motors which over the years have contributed to the many accidents on our lake and rivers leading to the loss of lives, capital and properties.

These will also boost the economic activities of rivering communities and individuals for a better life through commercial purposes which will help them earn money to pay fees and provide basic care for families to be independent she further added.

Maxwell Asare Ampadu ( a.k.a Afram Tiger) has successfully submitted his nomination form to contest the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Afram Plains south constituency of the Eastern region. The 29 Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made GH 6000.00 cheque donation to support Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko picking and filling for his nomination forms. The executives at a short ceremony in Upper Manya, Asesewa constituency office expressed strong interest  in him want him to continue to lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary and the  presidential elections.
