E/R: WE KNEW NO OTHER PERSON THAN OUR CHOICE OF DCE " GEORGE YAW OFORI" KINDLY BRING HIM AS OUR CHOICE AS OUR DCE, else consider the party Dead and no hope in campaigning come 2024 – NPP youth in Afram Plains south to The President.

Even thou we have come across some fake list of said MMDCEs in the Eastern been released from an unknown source which has sparked alot of fire in some Districts and Municipals, we are much thankful to God and our Leaders for coming out to clear the air or the mense caused by those fake minded ones in our party and in the country.

In as we are patiencetly waiting for the authentic list from our First Gentleman of the Land Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, we members of the youth wig in the NPP Afram Plains south constituency wish to make our humble appeal to the president Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to as matter of urgency appoint the grassroots’ choice in his quest to mention MMDCEs.

According to them, they disclosed to our news desk that; they have done thourogh investigations and assessment about those who have presented themselves to nominated as DCE of the District and have come to conclusion that George Yaw Ofori stand tall amongst all because as a new District created, he has been able do well in terms of development and placed 95th on recent MMDCEs performance league table which shows massive improvement in the history of Afram Plains and for that matter Afram Plains south.

They further added that George Yaw Ofori's performance when assesed with truthfulness nationally will even exceed some old Districts therefore he needs to be maintained again.

They also stated that have their full support for one person to be appointed as DCE, it’s high time the President considers their choice. Hence their appeal to the president to consider the competent and loyal candidate for the position.

George Yaw Ofori has a listening hear to everyone without discrimination, very humble to all chiefs and Assembly members that made him performed very well in his previous years of administration.

We are not saying he is "saint"but what we have seen is what we are testifying and we dare anybody to also come down to do their own checks and hear from people in the District about George Ofori's super performance said their spoke person.

The people in the District appreciated his good work and want him maintained and if the wrong person is choosen without the masses choice then our party will be destructed and no hope for our future aspirations for the " breaking the eights" fumed by the youths.

“We have submitted someone who has been loyal to the party for about 19 years to date with kind,cash and anything possible for the sucess of our NPP party in the Afram Plains south especially. Even some of us can give evidence to them when called upon.

He was once a Party agent, party secretary, chairman, and also became the District Chief Executive of his District and he has excelled in every position and task given him.

He deserves to be pushed to continue the hard work for the party and we believe his appointment as the DCE will impact a greater and positive change” they said.

Our calls and findings from top leaders revealed that regardless of the external hands tampering with the appointment and Other issues arising, they are confident Nana Addo will surely weigh up their support and furnish their humble request.

Urging the president not to depend on choices of people who are not residence of the District anymore and actually has no political roles played for the past nineteen (19) years for the appointment of their DCE, the group disclosed that those who dont want the progress of the party and with personal interest, who are also non active politicians in terms of politics and play no role in party’s campaign can make a choice that could negatively affect the party in a near future.

They however warn that those non active politicians will campaign in 2024 should the president fail to heed the grassroots or reject their choices.

They again hinted that if NPP is determined to break the eight(8), then seeking political counselling from non active politicians must be stopped.
