Re-appoint Our Hard Working Afram Plains South DCE George Yaw Ofori - Residents Appeal To Akufo-Addo



Painstaking investigations conducted by the socio-political show Host Torgbui Gadeka of Afram fm and Gadeka tv have revealed that almost majority of the supporters and members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) including youth, market folk(s),Residents of communities who got connected to the national grid and Assembly members in the Afram Plains South Constituency of the Eastern Region have endorsed second term re-appoinment bid of the incumbent Afram Plains south District Chief Executive (DCE), George Yaw Ofori
Speaking in an interview with the socio-political show Host of Afram fm and Gadeka tv on Tuesday July 13, 2021, scores of residents in the area described Mr George Yaw Ofori as calm, indiscriminate and  as a development-oriented DCE who has worked hard to bring more social intervention projects and programmes to Afram Plains south and also render a numerous service to the party and it support base.

“We all knew that George Yaw Ofori has performed greatly to bring the needed sustainable development to Afram Plains South and nobody can challenge his tremendous achievements, especially these visible achievements” they added



“The  person among us here in the District to help pull the votes for NPP come 2024 general elections is no other person than Mr. George Yaw Ofori and we are all pledging our unflinching support to him to make this come to pass said NPP youth wing in the Afram Plains south District.

“We want to speak the truth and his achievements are glaring for everyone to see. He has built schools, provided potable water to some of our areas, improve the social welfare of the people, embarked on numerous developmental projects and projected the image of the constituency said by some residents of Samankwae or Gavor-korpe, Trebu and Gador-korpe.

They said in his term of  chairmanship position in the constituency, Mr George Yaw Ofori lobbied for the betterment of the NPP party making it lucrative and outstanding till now and they realized that due his good work, the president nominated him to position of District Chief Executive.

 We have seen that no one can do the work to the expectation of the constituents and that is why we are appealing for his re-appointment said by some Party people in the Constituency.



We are of hope that by the Later hours of Thursday Godwilling the name George Yaw Ofori shall be nominated by noble able vetting committee both national and regional level further added by residents of Afram Plains south District. 


We are also appealing to our able Assembly members that they should not hesitate to endorse Mr. George Yaw Ofori one touch for on- time running of developmental projects in the District.
