E/R: Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah Donates to Private School Teachers in Donkorkrom



As part of measures to help promote youth participation in the development of the district, Hon.Betty Krosbi Mensah together with her team had a workshop program for all private school teachers in the district to educate them on the history of Afram Plains, the role of the youth in the development of the district and the way forward.



Mr. Fuseni Aminu(Leader of Team Betty) and Hon. Safo George(Assemblyman-Baadu Electoral Area) took turns to do powerpoint presentations on the subject.


The legislature admonished all private school teachers as well as the youths not to allow politics to divide them, "we may be divided prior to elections but we must all come together and fight for the betterment of our beloved constituency after elections". 

The development of the constituency is in our own hands, United we stand, Divided we fall.


The Member of Parliament,
Hon. Betty Krosbi Mensah used the opportunity to express her heartfelt appreciation to all those who helped in her re-election to serve as the Member of Parliament for the second term and also thanked her army of soldiers and NDC executives for securing her a resounding victory.


Hon. Betty together with her team donated 30 bags of Royal Aroma Rice, 10 boxes of oil, 4 boxes of sanitizers and an amount of 3,000gh to the private school teachers in the constituency.
The initiative was to ameliorate the plight of private school teachers who are still facing financial challenges due to Covid-19 pandemic.

I witnessed a very disturbing attitude of some Executives of the Eastern region during the vetting of the Afram Plains South Parliamentary aspirants. I picked on only that Constituency because it is one of the NDC’s strong holds which has lately seen a lot of bashing on the backs of its MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng.  The incumbent on his first attempt did not belong to any branch or obtained a party card but in just 2 months was allowed to contest even with criminal records which the Former General Secretary, Mr. Asiedu Nketia jaws prevy to and made some very genuine claims about this same MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng,Hon. Eric Osei Owusu also contested on similar grounds with no party affliction to branch or bearing a party card. AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH NDC PARLIAMENTARY RACE: MAXWELL ASARE AMPADU SUCCESSFULLY FILES NOMINATION FORM

Maxwell Asare Ampadu ( a.k.a Afram Tiger) has successfully submitted his nomination form to contest the parliamentary primaries of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Afram Plains south constituency of the Eastern region. The NDC will conduct its parliamentary primaries elections from Friday 25th August, 2023 to Saturday 26th August,2023 respectively in the current eighteen (18) constituency cleared to conduct their primaries after resolving numerous issues in those comstituencies. UPPER MANYA NDC CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES DONATES GHC 6000.00 CHEQUE TO SUPPORT FILLING OF MP NORMINATION FORM

The 29 Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made GH 6000.00 cheque donation to support Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko picking and filling for his nomination forms. The executives at a short ceremony in Upper Manya, Asesewa constituency office expressed strong interest  in him want him to continue to lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary and the  presidential elections.
