E/R: AM DETERMINED TO FIX THE DISTRICT AS A DISTRICT CHIEF EXECUTIVE IN TERMS OF DEVELOPMENT" - GEORGE YAW OFORI (DCE) HINTTED ON HIS VISION FOR AFRAM PLAINS SOUTH

The District Chief Executive for Kwahu Aframplains South, Hon. George Yaw Ofori has edged his people to support him to deliver his mandate as the agent of development and to "fix the district" to make the district a better place.


Hon. George Ofori said this at Tease the district capital in the eastern region when a community called Bonkron in his district benefited from rural electrification expansion.



Speaking to the media, Hon. George Ofori started that it is during his tenure of office that the people of Kwahu Afram-plains South has witnessed a massive developmental projects in all sector such as Education, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Health and Security.

He finally appealed to the government to re-appoint him as the District Chief Executive to complete what he has started to make the government proud of appointing him to represent him in the District.

I witnessed a very disturbing attitude of some Executives of the Eastern region during the vetting of the Afram Plains South Parliamentary aspirants. I picked on only that Constituency because it is one of the NDC’s strong holds which has lately seen a lot of bashing on the backs of its MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng.  The incumbent on his first attempt did not belong to any branch or obtained a party card but in just 2 months was allowed to contest even with criminal records which the Former General Secretary, Mr. Asiedu Nketia jaws prevy to and made some very genuine claims about this same MP, Joseph Appiah Boateng,Hon. Eric Osei Owusu also contested on similar grounds with no party affliction to branch or bearing a party card. The 29 Upper Manya Krobo constituency executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have made GH 6000.00 cheque donation to support Hon. Bismark Tetteh Nyarko picking and filling for his nomination forms. The executives at a short ceremony in Upper Manya, Asesewa constituency office expressed strong interest  in him want him to continue to lead the party in the 2024 parliamentary and the  presidential elections.
