E/R: THE ALLEGED STURBBORN NOMADIC FULANI MAN IN KWAHU NKETEPA AND ITS ENVIRONS HAS BEEN ARRESTED.




The socio-political show “Mpu ne Mpu” host of the reigning radio station in the Eastern region Afram fm 103.3 MHz and Gadeka TV respectively in the Kwahu Afram Plains south District specifically located in Kwahu Tease the District Capital has come out with the information about the arrest of a stubborn Nomadic Fulani herdsman in kwahu Nketepah and its environs also the Eastern region of Ghana.

A visit by Torgbui Gadeka the socio-political show host on the above mention media houses on Wednesday, 17th February, 2021 has revealed that the said Fulani man has been arrested by Kwahu south Municipal Police officers due to his stubbornness in destroying people’s farm crops and properties with his cattle, goat and sheep.
We decided to move further in order to find the truth in the arrest of the Fulani man.

Speaking with the Assembly member of the area, Hon. Akpatse Bossu Yaw Nani; he indicated that the said Fulani man has been troubling farmers and indigenes for decades with his livestock and anytime he has been summoned to come for the case settlement, he refuses to adhere to the invitation and at times he act rudely on the Chiefs and Elders as well as the Unit committee and the Assembly member.

He added that the Fulani man does not respect anyone in Nketepah and its environs and this has been one of the worries of both Chiefs, Elders, Unit committee and Assembly member as he continue to destroy people’s farm crops without been arrested.

Hon. Akpatse Bossu Yaw further making his clarifications said they have tried various means to speak to him to stop such deviant act but he won’t listen and won’t even attend to our invitations.

So we decided to report the case to the Mpraeso Police command for necessary action after he end up destroying one Uncle Sam’s cassava farm he added.

He tried taking to his heel to a nearby village called Denteh and a lot of plans have been initiated to arrest him and send him to court if possible but he has been escaping each plans but God been so good,we were able to arrest him whilst from market at Akateng.

Speaking with Torgbui Gadeka Hon. Akpatse further added that he has been handed over to the Mpraeso Police and been sent to Mpraeso Police custody for further interrogations and necessary punishment. “But it our prayer that he should be sent to court and charged accordilly because he has destroyed a lot of peoples farm crops and properties without been punished he hinted”.

 We have seen that among a lot of farmers at the area, majority of them have complained bitterly about the distroyance of their farm crops with cattle more especially this said stubborn Nomadic Fulani man.



The socio-political show (Mpu- ne -Mpu) host and multiple award winner Torgbui Gadeka of Afram FM 103.3mhz and Gadeka TV can say  that those farmers per our visit and presence at the scene at Nketepah are waiting for the said Fulani to be send to court for appropriate punishment by the court because he has caused them a lot of lost in the farming business.
